From the time I was 4 months old I had the great fortune of spending every August on pristine Skeleton Lake. Connection to this region now spans five generations, starting with my grandparents making the trek north from Hamilton in the 1930's to my own grandkids today. With our family renting a cottage in the bay by the Devil's Face every year from August 1 to Labour Day, the area was in my soul from a very young age.
Ahead to my adult years and I found myself in 1999 in my own place with my own young family on Three Mile Lake (Armour) just a short drive north of those years as a kid. This then evolved from year-round cottaging to full-time residency. Connections to Huntsville established and re-established.
Now life goes another step, as we find our way into Huntsville for good. I could not be more connected than I am to this area....where in many ways I started my life and simply could not stay away!
